At Chocolate Journey our aim is to process, pack and dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, so you can enjoy your treats without delay. We aim to dispatch orders from our Melbourne office the following business day, from Monday to Thursday. We do not send out orders on Fridays to reduce the risk that the goods will be exposed to extreme temperatures over the weekend.
Please note that during periods of extreme heat in locations that the goods will transit through we will hold your order and notify you by email when it will be dispatched.
We use the Express Post service of Australia Post for all deliveries, and currently only deliver to addresses within Australia. Please check your postcode against the Australia Post guidelines for expected delivery times, click here.
We recommend that you use a delivery address where someone will be available to receive your order. When there are no specific delivery instructions given, Australia Post will be instructed to return your order to the nearest post office or depot to collect if no one is present to receive the delivery. Please be aware that Australia Post or their representatives make the final decision in these cases and we cannot guarantee product will not be left unattended at the given delivery address.
Our website and our online store area have been carefully designed to provide you with as much information as possible on all our products. To help you make the right selection please use this information and select carefully. Unless otherwise agreed by us in its absolute discretion, all Products are sold on a no return for credit basis, unless: • Subject to this clause, the Products are received in a damaged state; or • incorrect Products are supplied to You; or • the Products are faulty.
If the Product delivered is not what you ordered (including any replacement Products), or does not correspond with its description or the Product delivered is not of a satisfactory quality, we will, at our option, deliver to you a replacement Product or refund to you the price paid.
Claims for credit must be made within seven (7) days of receipt or collection of the Products by You by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org A detailed description of the matter and photos will be required, failing which any such claims are deemed to be waived.
In the event we agree to the return of the Products for credit, You will be notified of the appropriate procedure to be complied with to return the Products.
If you are entitled to a refund from us, we will pay as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days. While in your possession, you must keep any Products you intend to return to us in good condition.
